Kodak X-OMAT Cassette

The new X-Omat cassette is precisely designed to maximise screen-film contact. Curved front and back panels "roll out" trapped air as the cassette is closed. Once closed the panels lay flat and parallel ensuring a remarkably tight contact. This is further backed up by a layer of compressible polymer foam behind each screen. All these factors combined give you the best image quality possible. Available in fine, medium, regular and fast options in all the regular x-ray film sizes.

X-Ray Grids

Our grids have aluminium interspacing but instead of the aluminium outer casing they are moulded into strong and rigid PVC outer covers. Available with either 40 lines/cm or 70 lines/cm.

• Due to the plastic coating they have 30% greater radiation transmission
• Bucky factor reduced by 25%
• Improved contrast by up to 22%
• Weigh approximately 17% less than equivalent metal covered grids
