Ultrasound has been used in many exotic animal species from snakes to canaries, monkeys, to dolphins and seals and lions and tigers.

It has been used for many applications including reproduction, detailed examinations of ovaries, cardiac examinations and blubber assessment. With the correct equipment, it is possible to do any ultrasound examination that you would do on a small animal in virtually any exotic species.
