Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Capetown RSA recently invested in the latest Tru-DR digital x-ray system to improve the level of care provided to their many clients around the Cape.

Dave Timson and Francois Triegaardt, senior partners in this developing mixed practice saw the significant benefits that digital x-ray could bring to the practice.

Francois said: "Being able to take x-rays on site with our clients will significantly improve the quality of care we provide to our equine client base around the Cape. Offering the facility for on-the-spot diagnosis of the x-rays was extremely attractive to us and our clients. Although the investment is substantial, we feel that we can enhance our service and quality of care. The speed of the x-ray process and consistently high quality images encourages us to take x-rays to help in our diagnosis whereas with our previous wet processing system, it was a much more complicated and time consuming experience processing x-ray plates."
