Animal Ultrasound - Keeping an eye on eyes - May '08

Scanning animal eyes is very useful in the diagnosis of problems and related sight illnesses. That was the case with Priya Bapodra and Paul Mahoney from RVC, who had a session scanning elephants' eyes in Sri Lanka with the Vet180Plus. BCF loaned Priya the Vet180Plus and the C11 (4-7 MHz) curved array probe, for 6 weeks for a project at Pinnawara elephant orphanage, as a part of Priya's  Masters on ocular ultrasonography.
