Animal Ultrasound - White horse races in Finland- May'08

Kristiina and Kimi (pictured below) work in a hospital in Tempere, Finland. Next to them is the Teivo racetrack where horse races take place every week. The racing conditions are extraordinarily hard for the horses, hence some of them require specialised veterinary attention, and most of the owners request Kristiina and Kimi's services to receive accurate, qualified diagnosis and treatment.

Nigel Perry, BCF's Sales Manager, visited Finland and brought us not only these pictures, but the reassurance that the MicroMaxx ultrasound system is essential to the vets' daily work. Kristiina and Kimi utilise this ultrasound scanner exclusively for equine use, which provides them with accurate musculoskeletal and cardiology diagnosis for their customers.
