BCF Technology walks for Breast Cancer fight
BCF Technology staff and families have gathered together to raise money for the Breast Cancer fight in a sponsored 3 mile walk around Beecraigs Country Park, Linlithgow on 1st of June. Despite the steady rain, everyone enjoyed the day and were proud of the £871 collected. When you have a look at the pictures you will see that there were smiles all around and the children enjoyed the puddles so much that BCF is convinced that other events like this will take place in the near future.
As you are probably aware, breast cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells which form a tumour in the breast. Breast cancer tumours may grow for months or years without causing breast cancer symptoms or any sign of breast cancer and unfortunately 1 in 4 women is predicted to get the illness. And be aware that is affecting men as well.
